Those were for the XDJ-RX; try this article, it's for the DDJ-SX2.
I have spent the last 3 days trying to find info on this and it's sparse to say the least. Ok so I'm using a DDJ SX2 with the newest firmware, drivers , etc. I have had no issues with anything until I try to record my sets.
First when I tried I got nothing on the master of the record panel. It would just make blank files with zero sound. Before you bother it is NOT a volume or level issue I can assure you. So I went into the settings and the input record setting is set to master out and cannot be changed. Nor can it be changed in the recording window itself.
So I was trying every thing I could since I can find no other threads about this that weren't the person doing something wrong. Under audio - audio - it was set to Pioneer DDJ SX2 ASIO. When I changed that to "Speakers (Pioneer DDJ SX2 2IN2OUT) I get sound in the recording meter. But when you play it back no matter if it's on headphones, speakers, etc , it has literally no lows at all. Zero bass.
So to sum this up again. When I recorded with the asio driver I get blank files (no matter the trim or volume etc) and when I changed it to Speakers / DDJ sx2 I get flat recordings with no lows.
And to save time possibly I'm on Windows 10 new HP laptop and I promise you this isn't a user error issue with me having the lows turned down or a fx filter on etc.
Someone please help me.
