rekordbox & cdj2000

 

HI GUYS i have 2 CDJ2000   AND DJM2000 win 10 64 bit  computer both CDJ and DJM 2000 are connected to the DJM Ethernet ports and rekordbox but i cant get the computer to connect to the CDJ2000 and when you press the link on the cdj2000 i cant see record box i have disabled fire walls and internet but if i use USB  two connect cdj2000 they controle rekordbox direct but i cant get the icons on the bottom of Rekordbox  wow really lost

hi no good i am just about over it i have spent so much money on this cdj2000 djm2000 and not connecting fire walls are of  eithanet   cables are conected to djm2000 cdj's are number 3/4 and computer is pluged into pc port win10 64bit  just over it i want to purchase the full software but not happy  i went to your link and wow i am not an IT gooru please help

@Stephen > You don't need to be a PC technician to follow the steps provided in that article -- did you try anything there? The two main things you need to check are that your firewall is disabled, any other security / anti-virus software is disabled, and that your network location type is set to Private (Home / Work) not Public.

WOW you have to be in export mode not performance so no wave form available in Rekordbox just like a big hard drive not real good

you cant even see the tracks going up or down on screen only on cdj2000 why is this so what is performance mode for

@Stephen > When linked (in EXPORT mode), your computer is acting like an extended hard drive with additional sort / search capabilities, yes.

When connected via USB (in PERFORMANCE mode), your players are simply acting as controllers with no waveform shown as that detail is available for you on your computer screen.
