CDJ 2000 NXS2: I have a few bugs and wishes!

Well i finally took a shot and got me these baby's ;) as i did not think the Nexus one were worth the jump before.

But i have some troublesome news and hope they fixable.

1. Cdj 2000 nxs2 hangs when activating several hotcues and loops at once.      take some pushing but its achievable. latest firmware 1.30
only way to get out of it are to reload or load another track.

2. One jogwheel are looser than the other and booth feel much looser compared to the cdj 2000 mk1 on the max adjust setting.

3. Need 64 Bar loop on player (indicator), i know i can make 64 bar loops in Recordbox, but it wont show what level on the indicator.

4. Be able to Set 8/ 16 / 32 bar loop native in setup as Default.

5. SD / USB Folder protection, when choosing a scource and jump into "Playlist"with folders if you press "setup" before you are in the playlist you risking to delete the whole playlist. This need to be fixed in the setup, set a write-protection. if you are not careful the lists are gone.

6. 8 / 16 / 32 bars Beatjump, one bar is not enough. I used this feature alot in Traktor and i loved it.

7. Is there a way to adjust the jogs to get them more firm as i feel the factory has not tighten them enough (Even on max)

8. Tag Editor - to be able to edit simple things like Key, BPM, and artist

9. Connection dropouts on the ProDJLink after several hours of playtime, usually on Nexus1, used SD and SSD, Samsung, Sandisk Extreme Series, 16 / 32 / 64gb gets a lag and wont load tracks, it hangs but get back after some buttonpushes. Happens more on Mp3 then Wav, never on CD

10. SD ports heat dispertion, tends to get hot and have fried two sd cards. the plastic breaks apart.

The overall feel of the players are good, and the sound if phenomenal. Would be even greater if they were flawless!

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback.  I will pass this along to the product planning team for consideration.

Point 2 totally agree they are much looser - just use sync ;-)

Point 6 agree that would be a brilliant feature and frankly why they'd release the one beat increment is bizarre?

Point 8 I agree with too

Have to say though I'm loving them!
