I've posted already several times in this forum about problems I've had using my XDJ-Rx system. I really can't say that the unit is bad, but when are you thinking about to develop a firmware to make it full functional?
First I really don't understand why you made it quasi incompatible with Traktor... I can imagine that you definitely want the people to use rekordbox but this is not the best way.
So I've bought Rekordbox, I'ts more or less ok with some hug bugs sometimes. But also rekordbox doesn't seem to be 100% compatible with the XDJ-RX. For instance you can't see the effect times in the browser screen ... (I've made an inquiry for that issue) But here comes the magic and pls test it out !!! When you are switching the midi mode from midi control to xdj-rx they are showing up WOW but then the Recordbox doesn't see the unit anymore but the controls are still working!!! WTF is that ??
Also when you are using external sound inputs without using recordbox or let's say an midi connection the effects are working but soon as you are switching to midi control they can't be used anymore. (I've also made an inquiry for that and pls don't say again the effects are software controlled because that's wrong)
A last thing, I are selling all your products with PRO DJ LInk... but the most DJs are using Mac Laptops and did you noticed the those Laptops don't have an Ethernet connector anymore! I know you can buy a thunderbolt adapter. So how should that work ???
I'm looking very much forward to here some explanations.

Nothing's being ignored, and we certainly do take user feedback into account. It's hard to add features to a discontinued product because of the cost and availability of resources to do so, regardless of how "easy" it seems to solve. Sorry!

i totally agree with you !!! I use Traktor too. Rekordbox is good but Traktor is way better for me. 3 Month ago the German Support / Repair Center told me that the FW is buggy since 2.10 and PIO will release a new one soon. He knows about the LED Bug in the XDJ Mixer Mode (only the Decks send MIDI). THIS IS NOT a HID need Feature for Rekordbox --> This is a BUG !
For me as a wedding DJ i need the External IN for iPhone / Spotify and guest wishes. But THESE IN'S don't work in MIDI Mixer Mode .... ! So fully unusable !
I use Traktor in"XDJ Mixer Mode" with a custom Mapping. But it will be nice the VU LED and Headphone LED would work HW based !
But this is not the only BUG in 2.10. The HW FX like NOISE is way too loud compare to the Deck Level. Increase the GAIN increases the FX Level too. So unusable too,,,,
I am a formerly "very" happy user of Traktor Pro / Traktor S2. I cannot say I have any remark on this. Traktor is a very good and stable solution. Never crashed on my Macbook Pro. But... this is an EDM product. Doesn't work very well with 70s disco, 80s... You cannot set irregular beatgrids.
I switched to XDJ-RX for about one year now. Rekordbox Export mode. Rekordbox has way more flexible options in maintaining playlists. Intelligent playlist. Dynamic beatgrids are AWESOME. But I must admit, for 70s disco, 80s... settings beatgrids is a hell of a job. But once it's done.........
The XDJ-RX is a product that was intended to work primary with USB stick. And that's also how I'm using it. Do not connect it to other software, do not even connect it to rekordbox on your laptop (no, the rekordbox DJ is not even a stable product). But export your songs to USB, and use only your controller. This works really really great and is a very portable solution. Even more, you just take your USB stick as you would arrive at a place where CDJ-2000 are...
I'm quite happy with an XDJ-RX in exportmode. The screen might be bigger, but that's no issue. Just "know" where your music is, make well structured playlists, and it's not difficult at all to play all night without a laptop. That's the main reason why I bought it, just NOT to need laptops etc...

Hey Pioneer, why you are ignore your fans? There are so many Posts with problems on the RX. Problems which approximately easy to solve. But you don't give any feedback, or listen to the users.
For me the biggest Problem is the Filter. The resonance is way to high and so the sweep is massively disturbing. Is it so hard to implement a attitude in the utility menue to set the resonance to high, mid, low, or off as well? For me, the Filter is unusable.
Same with the Noise-Effect. Much to loud!
The last Firmware is October 2017. Out of Support?!
C'mon Pioneer. We bought a professional Product. 2015 the RX was new on the market, and i have paid 1499€. 2 jears later the last buggy firmware?
