xdj-rx

Hi,

I have an XDJ-RX and I use, or try to use a PC with Rekordbox. I have the Ethernet cable attached, the usb attached, I've disabled Firewall, I've turned off the WIFI but I still keep on getting that f***ing e-8306 no file message. Sometimes I turn off the XDJ and turn it back on again or close the rekordbox software and load it again and it works fine. But surely I should be able to turn on my computer, turn on the XDJ and it should be working fine 100% of the time?? What's going on? I look into the forum's and there doesn't seem to be any real fix to my problem.

Please check the rekordbox read-me and review the networking tips listed there.

You should ONLY connect with either the USB (for control of rekordbox dj) or with the ethernet (for linking to rekordbox in export mode).

Hi,

Is there any way I can go back to the older version 4.2.1 of Rekordbox? I am now unable to link. I have the Ethernet cable connected. I have unplugged the Ethernet cable and connected the usb instead. I have even had the both cables connected.

Every version of rekordbox will require new permissions through your firewall. Please see the article linked above on troubleshooting / disabling the firewall in order to troubleshoot.

I have disabled the firewall. I have turned off wireless. I have turned off Norton. The link icon is there now. I link it but the music doesn't load. I get the same error as above. The link you attach doesn't give me any answers.
