Rekordbox DVS with CDJ-850 and DJM-850 routing

Hi,

I really like rekordbox dj, and after using it for a while now with my CDJ-850s and my DJM800, I am thinking of getting rid of my Serato interface and investing in a mixer with a built in soundcard.

To be sure about the right purchase I need to know if I can do proper routing with the new mixer.

So I have two CDJs that I use in HID mode with rekordbox, via USB as the 850s have no ethernet ports. It works fine but I would like to add my two 1210s to the setup.
So reading the manual of rekordbox DVS is describing routing only for the 900NXS, NXS2 and 900SRT, but nothing about the DJM-850.

My question is: can I use the two 1210s with the RB timecode vinyl and the two CDJ-850s in HID mode with the DJM-850 or shall I go for the DJM-900?

The DJM-850 has DVS support for rekordbox DJ. I also wouldn't get rid of your Serato box just yet. I would suggest giving the the trial version of rekordbox DJ a test when you get your DJM-850 or DJM-900nxs and see if it meets your standards. The DVS feature is part of the trial.

Like you, I liked rekordbox DJ for it's organization features, but once I tried the trail version of rekordbox DJ with certified DJM mixer. I found that the DVS currently does not perform as well as Serato with the setup I plan on using.
