Hey Carlos. Sound to me like a bad unit I would return it an get another one. I had mines like 3 months now. And they work great no problems. And am using it with the firmware it came with.

Brand New XDJ700 Freeze and black screen
I've just purchased 2 XDJ700 one of them is working properly but the other one got a black screen after a few minutes of use, all lights are on and the unit is totally freeze. I've tried to rest the unit switching the power off, waiting off for a while, and switching on again for several times. Sometimes it warm up ok but in a few seconds I get the same condition again. Sometimes I get a black screen since the switching on.
I've been looking for a firmware for the XDJ700 but the firmware is not in the web.
Any idea? Any to check before retour it to the dealer?

Hi Steven. Thanks for your answer, I agree with you. I'll return the bad unit. I wanted to give it a last try.
