DJM S9 Crossfader Not Working (Brand New Out Of The Box)
Hi,
Just received my brand new S9, set it all up and I can only play one deck? If I switch the crossfader reverse, then I hear the other deck (proving audio coming in on both decks to both channels). I have set the cross fader cut to 0, 50 and 100% with no difference, the actual cross fader does nothing, just the reverse switch.The cross fader is set to default 1mm but i have tried 0.3 and 5mm.... all the same results.
This happens in Serato or vinyl settings.
I think this may be defective, any ideas? Running 1.07 firmware...

Check to see if the crossfader is connected. It's possible that someone forgot to connect or re-connect the crossfader before it left the factory.

Hey @Andy, following up on a few old posts ... were you able to resolve the issue? If so, do you recall the fix?

Yeah the hardware was replaced under warranty. In the end I monitored the midi messages begin sent from the mixer and the crossfader didn't transmit anything so was clearly faulty out of the box....replaced with no fuss though and the new one has been perfect
