Hey guys
I just bought a DDJ-RB . Did the firmware update , installed driver and REKORDBOX and everything went well with no errors .
I have the DDJ-RB connected to my laptop , which has a simple TRUST PC/laptop speakerset connected to it .
I get sound through my headphones but no sound through my speakers or laptop . Everything seems to work just fine (channel levels peak's orange) except no sound through speakers .
Should I change something in the audio preferences section like the audio or the MASTER or BOOTHE output ??? Or is there something else I overlooked ?
@Gian > That's perfectly normal; if you have selected the DDJ-RB as your audio interface, the music will be sent to the headphones and master, but not your computer speakers. If you ALSO want the music to come out through the speakers, click the MASTER button up at the top right of rekordbox:
When it's blue, it's active and will send audio to your computer's main sound device.

@Pulse , unfortunately that isnt it either . The MASTER button is blue and the 2 little gauges next to it show output as i play a track .
@Gian > Have you checked your Windows sound mixer to ensure audio is going to the right place when the MASTER button is selected?
I am having the same problem right now, plus I don't have control over my MASTER LEVEL knob on RB
