So I'm really close to buying a pair of XDJ700s at my local seller.
I've been looking at reviews and price packages and it just sits perfect for my price range, one thing I'm unsure about is the wave forums when connected to rekordbox via USB, does each deck screen get a scrolling waveform or is it blank/small overview only?
Many reviews steer away from this and I know it's kind of pointless if your using the laptop but i personally would like this feature, so, do they show as scrolling waveforms like they do when using USB stick or is it just a overview only when using it in HID.

Yes, you get the scrolling waveform if you're using the XDJ-700 as standalone players with Rekordbox connected via ProDJ Link.
When used in conjunction with Rekordbox DJ as a HID, there's no scrolling waveform as of yet–that goes for the XDJ-1000 mk1/mk2/CDJ-2000NXS2 as well.
This is a requested feature but one that has not been introduced yet.
