Wifi connectivity

Surely the firmware for the cdj 2000 and djm2000 nexus can be updated to allow wifi connection through a connected laptop, the whole additional router to a system fully linked through isdn is backwards and not really at the level required for this kit, come on guys get it together.
Also Rekordbox doesn't fully sync all albums on a mobile device, no matter what I try. I've imported albums time and time again with varied amounts of success,

@Rob > The CDJs don't have wireless ability, and there's a reason for it - reliability. We want to ensure that the data sent over the ProDJ Link is not interrupted due to interference or poor quality signal, so a wired network is the best choice. There are many other technical reasons why it wouldn't be appropriate to use an ad-hoc wireless system to connect the players to a laptop, but I'm sure you'd also appreciate not paying more to have wifi in the already expensive CDJs.

@Rob > I'm not sure if what you're asking for is the ability for a wireless laptop to connect to CDJs (wired to a router), but it can currently do that. The limitation is that some routers do not properly cross-communicate the wireless to wired traffic, so the link is not detected.

Regarding the mobile sync, can you tell me the steps you're taking? Perhaps it's a simple error in the process.

You've missed my point, anything can connect through a router but why when connected without a router to a laptop with a built in wifi card would you see fit to require one, isdn or link as its branded is pass through technology as such there should be no requirement for a separate router it should be possible to connect to record box directly through the laptops on board card, the same applies for a laptop remote hotspot through an I phone,

I didn't explain myself very well

Djm 2000 connected to laptop (isdn wired) and to rekordbox dj.

the laptop has a built in wifi capability , why cannot the djm connect to rekordbox online service through the laptop directly ?

is this clearer

then as such can firmware updates etc not then be processed directly from the laptop to the cdj djm without the need for usb sticks, unzips and all of that mess, its asking for trouble and kit to get bricked up when a third party is in the mix, the firmware process seems overly complicated to myself for a piece of kit wired direct through isdn to a laptop connected directly to the internet ?

Sorry, that's not possible - the DJM itself doesn't connect to the internet for any reason.
