Sorry, this is not possible due to the design of the database. I understand the desire to have this function but it would require a rewrite of the software from the ground-up.
Hey Pioneer and all my piopeers,
I've been using recordbox for a long time, and love it. Lately, I've been Djing at my place with my friends, and we'll sit around and download new music together and cue up each song with hot cues and memory spots before we jump on the decks.
Unfortunately, once I've cued up a song with all the necessary cue points, I can't simply give the song to my friends and have those same cue points show up within their recordbox. Another example is if I download a song and the general tempo is off the grid, so after I fix the song in the "Grid" mode, I can't give that new version to my friends.
I feel like there must be a way to do this? In the manual it says when you backup the library, you can transfer the library to a different computer. The problem is that it replaces the whole library. So why cant I back up one song and transfer that?
Theoretically, you'd think that once you add edit points on a song, it would create a reference file or something, where recordbox could read it and analyze the information.. right?
If anyone could shed some light on this, that would be wonderful..
Cheers!
