The answer is Camelot notation requires licensing. That's an extra cost.
I have custom key tags set (camelot code) for all of my tracks. When I load the tracks on my xdj-rx, the keys on the information screen on the left side show up as musical notation and not the custom key I have set.
I have to go to info for each track while it's playing if I want to check what key I'm currently in. Is there any work being done on this? Kind of difficult to work with if you're doing melodic mixing but sorting your playlist by BPM.
Thanks!
Picture for example (this is how it looks even thoguh i have a custom key tag): http://www.digitaldjtips.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/XDJ-RX-Screen.jpg

any info on this?
It should be a licening thing, to bad
What lol. But if you use camelot code as your custom key tags and play on a 2000 Nexus, it shows your custom key on the top right during the playback screen. Why wouldn't it do the same on an XDJ-RX because of licensing? I have to view the info of the track on the RX to see what my key tags are
I know... One thing you can do is edit the track-name tag and put the key and/or energy level behind it. It's a work around I know but it helps. (If the track-name is not to long...)
