If you have the same fault on two different computers running different operating systems, it would seem the fault is the DJM itself. Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have the unit serviced.
I bought a new pair of CDJ2000NXS and a DJM900NXS coming up to 1 year ago and have never had any trouble until now. I have always connected the DJM900NXS via USB into my Macbook to record my mixes but today it wouldn't connect.
I am using a Macbook Pro on OS X Yosemite 10.10. The USB light on the mixer remains unlit and on the Setting Utility window it remains as 'Not Connected' when the USB lead is in actual fact connected. I have checked the firmware and seen that it is the current up to date version but as a way of elimination I removed both the driver software and the firmware that I had on the laptop. I have downloaded and installed the current versions of driver software and firmware and installed on both the Macbook and DJM900NXS which has not fixed the problem.
I have used a new USB lead which I know works but still no change, even with trying both leads in all the USB ports on the Macbook.
I thought possibly it could be something to do with the Apple OS so I used my old Windows 7 Laptop and downloaded the driver software on it. Once fully installed and connected I have the same fault.
Running out of ideas here; just wondering if anyone else has had similar or the same problem and any experience with getting it working again?
Many Thanks
Francis-M
