BPM matched. Beats matched... But beats drift?

Not using sync out of principle, but I am getting pissed off with how and why beats drift when everything is matched.

Issue happening on xdj rx.

Are you using Master Tempo?

Are your beat grids correct, created using the appropriate analysis mode (normal vs. dynamic)?

Grids correct. Analysed in normal. Tried with master tempo on and off.

Pulse, there are at least 10 post like this one on the forum. I've replied on almost all of them.

This is an issue.

Get used to it as pioneer doesn't seem to want to fix it. We've all posted about this issue for almost a year now and they still haven't fixed it.

The grids shouldn't need to be adjusted if you are not using sync, the beats drift even with sync off doing normal beat matching, I know beats drift anyway slightly but not to the extent where you are constantly battling every 5 seconds or so to keep it in sync,I thought my best matching had gone sloppy until I used other software and a xdjr1 and I could do it with my eyes shut

With the RZX I see two decimal points on screen and I can match it to be for example 128.02 vs 128.04. Instead of five seconds of sync I get 10 or 15 maybe... But I need to touch the platters constantly

I have a DDJ-RZ and do not have this problem with rekordbox.

Do you have the same issue on turntables (not using DVS) or standalone CDJs?

Of course beatmatching on any medium requires the odd nudge every now and then. Thats part of beatmatching.

Sorry didn't read your post careful. Are you experiencing this only with the XDJ-RX?

That is a standalone device and unfortunately haven't used that unit..

Randomly setting tempo to +10 has had a positive impact in beats staying in line. Strange.

I fixed this issue by simply disabling the dvs function. Not sure why, but I was having bad drift problems. unchecked "Enable DVS", and it worked fine. Not a true fix, but a workaround.

I have this same drift problem on my BEAT FX using the DJM900 NXS2...  hooked up with my CDJ NSX2

It drifts by cutting the FX slightly shorter than the listed beat count...  no matter if it is auto BPM or quantized, always has this problem...

I searched everywhere, cannot find a solutions... any new updates guys?

*I don't have a DVS function to disable to workaround this problem*
