Official comment
Open rekordbox, click Preferences, go to the Advanced page, on the Database tab, click the Browse button to the right of iTunes to locate your new database location.

Moved iTunes folder
I had an iTunes issue and had to move my music folder. Now I have to relocate 4000 tracks. Also when I goto Sync manager no tracks appear in the ITunes folder.
Im guessing I need to tell Rekordbox where my new iTunes folder is/

Afraid so. Moving the iTunes folder is a huge mistake, though as you said it seems like it was something that couldn't be avoided in your case.
Update the directory containing the iTunes folder within RekordBox.
