XDJ-RX : Hi there,

I have had my xdj rx now for around 2months and I am trying to use the Pro DJ link feature. However, I seem to be struggling with it. I've connected the xdj rx unit and laptop via the Ethernet cable provided but nothing happens, either on laptop or on the pioneer unit. People who have used the Pro DJ link feature tell me that I should see something pop up on the left hand side that says link, but no matter how long I wait, nothing pops up. Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks

1) rekordbox needs to be in EXPORT mode (if you have a license for rekordbox dj - PERFORMANCE mode).

2) Provided your wifi is disabled and firewall either configured to allow the communication (or disabled), you will see a LINK icon at the bottom left of rekordbox when your XDJ-RX is connected to your computer via ethernet cable.

3) Press the LINK button and you will see your XDJ-RX appear at the bottom of the screen. Alternately, you can press the rekordbox button on your RX and navigate your collection from the RX itself.

You probably mean that you want to use xdj rx through ethernet cable with record box program.

If yes, when you install program you should prompt to allow RB to have access in your firewall. Did you see this message? Did you click yes to all of these messages???

I use 4.2.1. version and link buttons are in the button of program.
