Freezing Of DDJ SR

Ok I have had my DDJ SR for a few months now and once I started using effects it freeze up.  After using a effect the system freeze then at times it will start playing the track at a very slow speed.  I have updated to the laster Serato and firmware for my controller without any success in the freeze issue.  I restarted the controller and it stopped and Ive also restarted Serato and it stops both only for a short period of time.  I need help I was on a gig a few days ago and had the system to freeze up.  So not cool when it is a paying customer and not to mention the amount of money Ive paid for this controller.  I need help on how to fix this issue.

Exactly the same issue, also did update the firmware and Serato.

I'm pretty upset to spend $600 and to have a controller who is doing this!

I think I have found a fix for my issue. I went back to senator 1.9.0 and for a week all has ran smooth.

I'm using Serrato 1.9.4, do you think I should downgrade?

That is what I did and I haven't had any issues since. I'm using a mac book provides mid 2009 with a core 2 processors. You can keep both version just in case

Same problem here. Even if this downgrade solution works i dont think its the adecuate to this problem. @pioneer should do something about it! A lot of people are having the same issue.

Im using Sierra and recently upgraded to a SSD and a 16gb ram, firmware and software up to date but still the same issue.
