does xdj-r1 support Rekordbox Video VJ / VDJ

Hi there,

I'm planing to purchase rekordbox dj VJ/VDJ version but first I need to know if my controller supports the software and can i play video clips through it, in trial version the xdj-r1 works perfectly but without showing any videos on the TVs or on projection through HDMI output from my macbook pro late 2013, only plays tracks as rekordbox dj without video clips so plz looking forward to give me more details concerning this issue before doing the purchase,

Your XDJ-R1 can control rekordbox video (see compatibility chart here).

The trial version operates the same as the full version; it should output to your secondary video output if you have configured that properly within your OS. You can double-click the master video preview to create a separate video output window, then drag that over to the 2nd output "desktop" to view it there - then maximize it for full-screen view.
