[Solved] XDJ RX speed/BPM bug

Did you analyse it with dynamic ?

Try that one track with dynamic, it will get it right I think.

Due to Pioneer this problem is usually caused by the dynamic mode but i will try it tomorrow. Unfort. this happen with every track :/

BUT when I connect the xdj via lan cable in link mode everything is fine!

so it has to be a problem with the transfer on the usb stick. I tried 2 different usb sticks and on both sticks the same problem.

to be honest, it is very annoying and I hope pioneer will give a statement about that.

why it is marked as solved? nothing is solved...there is a bug in rekordbox when it is transfered onto the usb stick. When there is no solution I am forced to sell it. Too bad because I like the xdj :-/

Watching your video, I can tell you haven't set your beatgrids properly. Look where the markers are in relation to the beats.

yeah i know. Almost EVERY track isnt analysed well by rekordbox und i dont want to set them all right (+300 tracks).

But I don't care because I beatmatch by ear and don't need the beatgrids.

The main problem is that the tracks drift away. In link mode this don't happen, just when I use USB.

And how do you think the player magically sets a 4-beat loop? It's based on the grid data.

Please fix that if you'd like us to be able to provide further troubleshooting and support on this issue.

in link mode there is no problem with the loop and same tracks, so i don't understand your point...

sure, but the beatgrids aren't the problem here. I don't use the sync button or auto loops. Also tracks set with the correct beatgrids drift away.

The problem is that there is a issue in the way from rekordbox to usb stick.

In the video, did you or did you not use an auto-loop?

 No i did not. It is a selfmade loop by tipping

Due to other posts here (a lot with this issue) it seems like that problem occured since firmware 1.8. Is it possible to downgrade to lower than 1.8, only to check if it is a firmware problem?

So it's entirely possible your loop isn't accurate.

No it hasn't to do with the loop because in link mode via lan cable this doesn't happen.
Either it is a Problem with the firmware or with the transfer on usb ...

@Megantic Good morning, I have the same problem as you !! The songs with different BPMs will have the beat grid varying with or without the connected SYNC, with or without QUANTAZE on. I already reported the problem by email to Pioneer and through the forum (@Pulse), but with no success !! Apparently several and several people have the same BPM variation problem even in firmware version 2.20 and rekordbox 4.2.5, as I do. Pioneer always comes the same talk as asking to post videos, do this, that and nothing solves! Sorry for the hype, but I have been having the problem for months, like several people on Pioneer forums (different topics but the same problem "BEAT GRID INSTABILITY - BPM") I'm sorry I bought XDJ-RX, like two friends of mine Also bought and have the same problem ours. To give you an idea, I've already done ALL the tests requested by Pioneer. I lost count of how many videos I made, requested by Pioneer, all without solution. I've done several tests, downgraded Rekordbox to test, bought other USB flash drives to test if they were the USB flash drives, several tests of rekordbox music, several XDJ-RX tests, I called friends of my friends who own XDJ -RX in Brazil and all with the same problem. Below is the email / question to Pioneer (@Pulse) that I did previously, along with the videos links posted on Youtube. All with problems of synchronization and beatgrid instability. If I know how to solve the problem, I need your help. I do not know what else to do. I'm disgusted. My energies ended up in front of so many tests.

4) Video - beatgrid problem (BPM) using LINK Rekordbox via Network cable. The problem persists in all possible tests. I even formatted the pendrive and analyzed all the songs again in dynamic and normal mode. I bought a new pendrive. The problem persists. Please, I do not know what else to do. I already had an XDJ-R1 and I never had this problem. I play with the same USB flash drives in 2000NXS and I have no problems. I think it's a firmware problem.

I'm also having this problem with my xdj1000 in link mode (suddenly speed going up without touching anything). What I don't understand (maybe pulse can make this clear): if it's the beatgrids, why does it happen when the players are not synced ? In this case the song should stay at the set speed.

I know it is very annoying but i dont think Pioneer will solve it in the near Future. I sold my xdj and bought cdj 850ers.

I Hope this Gets fixed, never had these problems with the cdj 900.
