XDJ 1000 MK2 Loop Mode

Instead of having to go into perform all the time, is there away of changing loop mode from four to eight beat loop? This is what I normally tend to loop on.

You don't have to go into PERFORM mode, just tap the LOOP MODE button and hit 8.

There is no ability to set the auto-loop length to 8 instead of 4, sorry.

Hi, thanks for the quick reponse.

Maybe a stupid question, but where is the loop mode button on the XDJ 1000 mk2?  I have seen it on the mk1 (between usb and slip on the screen) but on the mk2 it is missing and just has the player number? This would make a huge difference,so please let me know how I can enable this. Thanks again.

Hi, can anyone help with this one please? Don't understand why I cant see the loop mode button on the screen? If I look at Pioneer images on their site it is also different from the XDJ 1000 and the picture doesn't show the button (just the deck number). A backwards step if you can't do this, so please tell me I am doing something wrong?

Yes, we can help you, but we can't always get to your question within 24 hours.

If you press and hold the LOOP IN button, it will automatically jump to 4 beats, the screen will change to the looping screen; you can then press the 8 button.

See page 23/24 of the manual.

Apologies, I wasnt sure if this was officialy manned or not. Appreciate your help.

I have tried this and when I press and hold, it doesnt 'change to the looping screen'.

Why was the loop mode button removed in the MK2? Supposed to be an imporved model, but this is a backwards step.

How long are we meant to wait for a response? Is this an official Pioneer forum? If it is, disappointed with my first experience of Pioneer to be honest. Customer service has to be some of the worst I have experienced.

I can also confirm that on my XDJ 1000 MK2 holding the LOOP IN button doesn't change to the looping screen

Holding down the LOOP IN button will engage a 4 bar loop, but I still have to use the touchscreen to see the other loop length options

wen you are in quantize mode, and you release you're loop in 8 beats on the touchscreen, you can push the 16 beat or 4 beat button just at the end of the loop. works also with the call buttons to increase or make the loop shorter
