You don't need feedback from everyone; here's the list... MK2 adds:

  • FLAC / ALAC support
  • simple HID connection (connect 1 USB from an XDJ to linked players; driver required)
  • rekordbox LINK export
  • higher detail / RGB waveform
  • new phase meter
  • needle countdown
  • "MATCHING" browse mode
  • new shortcut button
  • track filter
  • 8 hot cues vs. 3
  • DDJ-SP1 support
  • digital output

Currently no native support for Traktor and Djay pro, that's why I prefer mk1 (at the moment).

@pulse Do you think that the XDJ 1000's owners will receive in the future the update of firmware or will be one controller that will stop to receive updates???

Updates for legacy products are available when there are fixes to be issued, generally-speaking, new features are not added after they are no longer current products.

the biggest difference is about £1200 extra on a pair, its a minimal upgrade.

@andyfoz the MK1’s were not £800 for a pair. I think that was a slight exaggeration.

I quote "the biggest difference is about £1200 extra on a pair" They now sell for around the £2000 mark..... £2000 - £1200 = £800.... QUICK MATHS!
