XDJ-RX CABLE LAN

XDJ-RX Export link issue

Hello

I've got a problem and I think I've tried everything. Back in the days I had no problem with connecting my XDJ-RX via LAN cable to my laptop. Now I wanted to connect it to my new pc. I've done everything that is needed - I've turned off the firewall and wifi.

Nothing shows on the screen of RX. In the rekordbox I have the "Link" button, when I click it, then it changes to "1 link" and nothing happens.

I'm working on Windows 10, the cable is connected to ethernet socket on MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX motherboard.

Hi, wheelie party

A common cause is the network adapter settings on Windows. Make sure the Ethernet adapter is set to a Private network, not Public, and that IPv4 is enabled (set to automatic IP/DNS). Also check that no VPN or third-party network software is running.

Try a different LAN cable (the XDJ-RX requires a standard Ethernet cable, not crossover) and connect directly, not through a router or switch. Restart both rekordbox and the XDJ-RX after plugging in the cable.

If it still doesn’t work, reinstall the Pioneer DJ LAN driver and update rekordbox to the latest version.

Hi there! It sounds like you're having a tough time with the connection. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check Network Settings: Make sure your PC and XDJ-RX are on the same subnet. You can check this in the network settings.
  2. Update Drivers: Ensure that your network drivers are up to date.
  3. Reboot Devices: Sometimes, simply rebooting both your PC and XDJ-RX can resolve connection issues.
  4. Try a Different Cable/Port: If possible, try using a different Ethernet cable or heardle port.
