In Rekordbox 6.8.2, the lock icon means recording is disabled unless you’re in Performance mode with a supported Pioneer DJ service channel controller or mixer connected. Without compatible hardware, Rekordbox won’t let you record directly—you’d need to use an external recorder or routing software instead.
