Sample on loop

Hi,

I want to use the samples to play a beat in sync with the song.

I am a bit lost when trying to configure the samples from the sample pack as repeating beats. I have 3 questions about this:

First:

I load the sample (from the sample pack) into a sample slot.

I click edit. There is no speed assigned to the sample.

Then I assign loop mode, MT and SYNC.

The sample will not play in sync. I assume it does not do it because the beat is set to 0. Is there an easy way to set the grid so that every sample from the sample pack can be played easily in sync with the master deck?

Second: When I adjust the speed manually (let's say to 120bpm) the sample is not played properly (in loop mode) but hangs at the start of each "round". Looks to me like a bug.

Third: I can configure this to start on the press of a button. Pressing the button again, will just play it again (which is not of use). Can I configure Rekordbox to stop the look when pressing the button again (instead of using Shift + Button)?

One-shot samples don't have a tempo assigned to them, only looping samples.

You need to also have something set as the master, and then sync the sampler.

If the loop hangs, it might not have had an accurate grid when it was sampled.

Yes, you can configure a keyboard shortcut to stop the sample; look for "Pause slot" on the keyboard shortcuts list.

thank you for your prompt answer!

For the remapping of Midi: I just want to control the start and stop with the controller with the pad - not using the keyboard. Is this possible?
