Trust me, you haven't seen a video on that for rekordbox -- maybe Serato Flip (sounds the closest to what you're looking for). Sorry!
Hi guys, I'm going mental here, I am sure I've seen on youtube a tutorial on how to achieve what I am about to ask but I can't seem to find that video anywhere :(
Basically, what I want is to create a loop that can be set to active to be picked up when the play reaches that point (easy to do) but here's the trick... I would like the loop to exit after a set amount of time. For example, I would like to loop to run 4 times then continue as normal. all this without having to deactivate active or something like that.
Please advice.

I think you are right, it's made of Serato Flip ;)
why can't any loop just become an active loop? There should just be a way to "activate looping" on the fly and the next loop point the track gets to will automatically activate.
@Matt > You would have to already store a Hot Loop for that to work. Unlike Serato DJ, which has the ability to store and recall loops, you can only "re-activate" one previously active loop in rekordbox. Even if you change it back to active, you'll still need a way to jump to it.
