Did you use the export process through rekordbox?
HI,
I purchased 2 XDJ 1000 MK2's and the main waveform is not showing on the screen (the smalle waveform is). All the tracks have been imported to Rekordbox and, analysed and then copied back out to the same USB stick. The USB stick has been formatted to FAT 32, and I have updated the firmware on the XDJ's to 1.30. The has happened to 2 USB sticks, 1 a Samsung and 1 a Scandisk Extreme 3.1 (the recommended USB stick apparently), so it would seem as though it is another problem rathern than the sticks themselves.
I've looked at other people having the same problem (have searched on this forum), and have tried everything they have mentioned. Help me please, it is quite annoying! Thanks in advance peeps!
Si

Also don't export your tracks to the same USB drive, as you'll end up with duplicate tracks. The FOLDER category will show all your original, unanalyzed tracks, while the other categories will show the Rekordbox analyzed tracks.
Loading a track from the FOLDER category will not give you the large waveform or any of the other benefits of Rekordbox analyzed tracks.
"Also don't export your tracks to the same USB drive, as you'll end up with duplicate tracks."
That was true before rekordbox 5; but if you use the same drive as the source and export, it now links to the file so it doesn't duplicate.
Thanks for your replies, basically it was me being stupid. When you copy the files in to Rekordbox, I thought it analysed them (as it takes so long and processes each track), I now know that this is not the case. All sorted now after I analysed them and recopied them to the drive.
Thanks again,
Si
