You can edit them, and they are saved. How exactly are you doing it - what's the step-by-step process?
I recently upgraded to the RX2 and have had a few issues (1 I’ve created a seperate topic)
When in performance mode I can’t seem to be able to manually beat grid like I used to be able to on the RX1. When using a USB I can do it but that’s no good to me when prepping for a gig as the beatgrids won’t be saved
Is there a way you can manually beatgrid in performance mode?
Many Thanks

Well in performance mode on the RX1 I used to hold down the rotary and manually do it that way but on the RX2 in performance mode it won’t allow this.
When I use the usbs and do it this way it works but am unsure if it saves the new edited beatgrids to the usb? I assume that you would usually edit the beatgrids in performance mode and then export to usb for the beatgrid to save to that device?
Is there a way in performance mode that you can manually adjust beatgrids?
No, you can't do that in performance mode for either unit, unless you know a secret I don't!
If you edit them on the device when playing from an export USB drive, you can make the changes to the grid, then connect it back to rekordbox, right-click on the drive and select "Update collection" to bring in the changes.
Hey
I’ve figured out you can do it on rekordbox itself now lol so will sort that way from now on however before, when my RX1 was connected via LAN to rekordbox and not USB device , I could manually adjust beatgrids buy pushing down the rotary controller
When you connect via LAN to rekordbox you're in Link Export mode, not Performance mode. Perhaps if you install the USB Link Export driver you can do the same with the RX2.
@pnut > Yeah, as @Erik notes, that's in EXPORT mode, not PERFORMANCE mode (rekordbox dj).
