Pitch bend button stuck

The pitch bend is not working on the Xone K2 Controller.

the bend just stays active the whole time. i even cant  undo it with another press of the same button wich would be logic when the buttons are in toggle mode.

Though rekordbox doesnt give the possibility to change between toggle and hold or other functions.
it doesnt seem to be that problem because another press of the same button doesnt stop the bend at all.

Please FIX your broken MIDI implementation !!

Seems the problem isn't our MIDI but how the K2 sends MIDI data.

Have you tried using a MIDI monitor application to inspect the signal being sent by that button?

Hi @Pulse,

The problem isn't from the 3rd party controller.
I recorded a video for you to see the MIDI Monitor. It seems obvious to me the button is turning off. However Rekordbox doesn't register this behavior and keeps going as if the pitch bend button is still pressed.

Here's the link to the video:

Please tell us if I'm wrong and how so I can troubleshoot this further.

Note: this problem and the problem I've submitted regarding the CUE button midi mapping in another post (I'll provide link below as well) are connected. I've also proven that the issue with the CUE button is happening with DJM900nxs2 as well.

Please work with us to let us know at least Pioneer recognizes this problem...

Many thanks!

Again, I believe this is because the function is expecting a momentary signal, not a toggle on/off. Yes, it will happen with the cue button on a DJM-900NXS2 because that button also functions the same way. Please try changing the MIDI to be momentary instead.

Hi @Pulse,

Thanks for the answer.
How do you change the midi to momentary for the cue button on the djm-900nxs2?

On the DJM, you couldn't without using a program like BOME MIDI Translator.

Oh! That's a pity. I just bought a Xone K2 as I can't carry my 3x XDJ-1000 MK2 to some venues because of the space :(

At least it would be nice if Rekordbox has the same feature as Traktor Pro in which you can select the behavior of each control
