XDJ 1000 Traktor Usb stick.

Good evening, I am writing to you in the hope of being able to receive your help. I find myself in a situation a little difficult to manage, as I own a mac book pro 2016 with only 2 type-c USB ports, I own a hub to which I can connect 4 USB ports, the point is that my set up consists of 2 Pioneer XDJ 1000 + 1 Pioneer DJM 750 Mixer + 1 usb stick where I stored all my music collection, so there is no free port to connect the Traktor X1 Mk2. My question is: Is there any way to connect the USB stick to one of the Pioneer XDJ 1000 players and have Traktor read all the tracks like when I connect it to the Hub ??? Thank you very much in your response.

Even without the rekordbox dj license you're able to link two XDJs to share the contents of one USB device.

@pulseGood morning, sorry if I send you a direct message on this page but I need advice. I'm about to buy the new PIONEER DDJ 1000 controller, my question is: Can I use a USB stick to connect to the Mac and use the files containing the usb without having to store them in the computer ??? I read on various forums that the new Rekordbox 5.0 can read and analyze files from usb sticks, but I need to know if it's 100% true. Thank you for your answer.

The DDJ-1000 is a controller and requires rekordbox to operate. You can store audio on an external USB drive, however it will still need to be analysed by rekordbox, and will still require rekordbox to use the DDJ-1000.
