I apologize if this has been asked.
Running MAC OSX 10.9.5
I start RB ver. 4.5.0 it prompts for 5.2 update....follow steps...success install....
next time i start RB same version prompts for update again..
I tried going to 5.01 first same deal...wont budge from 4.5.0
Any ideas??

@Jason > See @Henrik's comment below; if you're launching it from the dock, that "shortcut" will point to the original application file. Please try loading it from the Finder's Applications folder and if you now notice there's two of them on the dock, the second one is the newer application and the old one can be removed.

The update doesn't delete the old version of Rekordbox, you are most probably launching the old version through the dock or spotlight.
Jeez, don't I feel dumb.....I will check when I get back...
