does it say they are not up to date in the crash dump?

like I said, I just updated everything. (running 18.2.1 of the AMD drivers (non beta)).

I have noticed that rekordbox is still running and analyzing tracks in the background, besides the error message, but  I can only access the library part and fiddle around with it

I'm not looking at the crash dumps; we specifically ask that users do not post them unless we request them.

With rekordbox closed, please try this:

- find this file and open it with a text editor: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox\rekordbox3.settings

- find this line: <VALUE name="DisableOpenGL" val="0"/>

- change the value from to 1

- save your changes

- open rekordbox and see if the same error occurs

Still happens. I need like 10 tries to get into rekordbox and when I enter fullscreen it crashes and displays the error message. The sound gets all bugged out, too and it just plays a high pitched noise, which contiues to play until I turn off the ddj 1000

Starting App as Admin

Giving the app the controll for fullscreen optimization

When it runs:

the waves are all choppy and don't display correctly, if at all, with the new settings

There are also some other visual glitches occuring :/
