i just bought a preowned XDJ-RX and the software says I'm not using the latest version. So after reading the posts about the problems with the update (once its found cause the link doesn't go to a XDJ-RX firmware download link) i should probably not update the firmware anyway huh? or should i use the XDJ-RX2 update that i keep getting when i click the link?
No; the RX2 firmware won't work on an RX, it confirms the hardware ID before updating.
Try the firmware available on the RX page (for some reason it's not available on the global page, but it is on regional pages -- we are working to correct that!)

Thanks for posting that Firmware update link. I was wondering why it wasn't showing up. Hopefully it will be fixed soon! thanks! Maybe you guys should post that somewhere on your page so everyone doesnt think its been totally removed. thanks again.
