Official comment
That's just whether or not the "initial key" tag is written to the ID3 of that song. You don't need to re-analyse them, the data is still retained within rekordbox.

'Write the value to the ID3 tag' do I need this selected?
Hi,
I've only just noticed the checkbox in Analysis settings 'Write the value to the ID3 tag' is not selected. I have 1000's of tracks and don't really want to re-analyse them all!
What does this do?? I've googled but I can't find out it's relevance in RB?
