Forgive the trouble.
I have a problem with Rekordbox.
I just wanted to know if it is normal that it takes 3 minutes and 50 seconds to load the library with 40,000 songs.
I know that my Macbook Pro has an old processor but 'it seems a bit' too much the time it takes before the software opens.
My configuration is as follows:
Rekordbox 5.2.2
Macbook Pro (13-inch, early 2011)
Intel Core i5 processor 2.3 Ghz
Ram 8GB
SSD 1TB
macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.4

Well, given that the computer is 7 years old, that certainly does play a factor.
Have you tried going through your computer's software to eliminate any unnecessary applications and disable any that might be running in the background and taking system resources (CPU or RAM) away from rekordbox? That would be my first recommendation, and you can find some basic instructions on that here.

Thanks for the reply Pulse. I will follow your advice to see if you can a little 'speed up the old MacBook since the new' almost at the door. I do not want to guess at all if I unfortunately had to crash in the evening.
Having an SSD is already a good start -- is that where the library is located?
Yes, the music is all placed in the SSD of the MacBook. That's why it seems to me a little strange.
Hmm... yeah, shouldn't take that long. I'd start with the guide I linked above to try and eliminate any other running processes or background applications. Streamline what you can and see if that makes any difference. If you're still stuck, I'll forward you along to our rekordbox engineers.
I reviewed the whole guide and double-checked the whole thing. It seems that everything is fine because I can quickly open more demanding Rekordbox software. I would be very grateful if you could have a technical support.

Unfortunately, the assistance has replied that given the specifications of my old Macbook it is normal that it takes so much time to open the software. They told me to move the whole library to an external HDD. I thought that having it on site on the SSD was better.
I downloaded the trial versions of the following DJ software: Algoriddim Djay Pro 2 and Serato Dj Pro. Both software can be quickly opened by loading Itunes library in no time. I can not understand why.
Any kind of advice would be very welcome.
