Beat sync + loop problem

I can't see anything on that video to help me -- just seeing waveforms doesn't tell me anything about the deck status, nor can I see what you're doing with the loop buttons / jog. Initially this seems like a misunderstanding of the sync / quantize functions, but without being able to see more, I can't be 100% certain.

As for the forums, please log out, clear your browser cache and remove any cookies for:

That resolves the issues for most users.

Then look away from the video and just read the text. I don't use the quantize function. It's just the loop function that behave odly when used with beat sync. 

Or... make a video showing what's requested and I can assist you.

I could, if I was a video producer, but I'm not that. However, I am is a paying customer trying to help with a buggy software. And it's probably easier that you recreate it.

For demonstration purpose, just find a monotone edm song for this.

1- select BEAT(not BPM!) sync and activate it on both decks. Don't use Quanntize or anything.

2- Load a track into deck 1 and have it play. Do not loop it or anything.

3- Double click to load the same track to deck 2 and make a 4 bar loop.

The tracks will be in sync now, with deck 1 playing and deck 2 running a loop.

4- Use the jog wheel on deck 2 and adjust the song so that it's on a half beat with the song on deck 1.

It will sound awfull and will be possible to see visually as the beat grids for deck 1 and 2 will be as unaligned as they can be.

5- Press the loop button on deck 2 to exit the loop.

The song on deck 2 will then snap into sync with deck 1. In this case this is great, but is ruins the mix if you have to have the grid in the loop unaligned with the other song. And it doesn't do this if you have it set to BPM sync, or if you turn off SYNC before exiting the loop. 

To put it simply, if you have 2 tracks playing (one is looping) and SYNC/SYNC+Q turned on, you may need to nudge track 1 slightly to bring it better into time, however when you hit the loop out button the one you've nudged into time will snap back to align the beat grid, making the tracks out of time.

It's an issue with not having the beat grid lined up properly. I often have a track where the beat grids are half a beat out, don't have time to realign ( or don't notice ) and when coming out of the loop it screws the mix.

The work around is to turn SYNC off just before hitting the loop out button, this will leave the track position where you have it. Not ideal but I have got used to it lol.

Ao ativar o beat loop no deck 1 e tentar usar o beat sync no deck 2 ele não é igual ao bpm, então acontece quando o beat beat no deck 1, ou você pode usar o beat loop no deck 1 em paralelo com beat sync no deck 2 não fica sincronizado as batidas.

ja desinstalei tudo e instalei de novo e nao funciona. o que posso fazer?

utilizo a versao atual em 22/12/19
