No - the USB connection for your DDJ-1000 must go directly to a computer.
If i arrive at an event and there's already a DJM900 NXS2 mixer set up, can i connect via USB Cable from my DDJ-1000 Controller?
I know i can do it with RCA cables via MASTER OUTPUT from the controller to one of the LINE IN channels on the DJM900 NXS2 mixer.
Just wanna know if it can be done digitally?
Appreciate it, thanks

Sorry I forgot to mention that part. So even though I am connected via usb to my computer with the DDJ 1000 can I also connect digitally to the DJM900 NXS2 mixer via usb? Like a Serato setup with the DJM900NXS2 for example.
What is it you're trying to accomplish?
Just want to arrive at a gig with my mixer and my laptop and connect it digitally.
I already know I can do it with an rca cable to Aline in but the quality isn’t the same so I’m wondering if it’s possible to achieve it digitally
For better sound quality
I mean I want to arrive with my controller and laptop and connect to the mixer Djm900 nxs2 digitally. Is that possible. If not would it sound grade the sound quality?
Down grade*
Sorry spell check issues.... write again...
I want to arrive at the club setup that they have with the DJM 900nxs2 already connected to their master output to amps and sound system with my DDJ 1000 controller to dj and laptop.
I have already achieved this going through rca to a line input to the DJM mixer but just wondering if it’s possible to do it digitally?
Nope, sorry -- the DJM isn't a host device for controllers; you need to connect the DDJ-1000 directly to your computer. While it may be possible to configure the DDJ-1000 and DJM-900NXS2 as simultaneous audio outputs, it's a bit more technical a feat than I'd advise you to do simply to gain a minor difference in audio quality.
