Totally agree, related tracks needs to work far better for users using export mode with DJ-Link (RX2)
It would be nice if we have the possibility to look directly at our collection the releated tracks. With a different color maybe. (Something like the mark of allready played) Or with a sign that tells us that this track can play with what's in the master deck.
All of this, of course, with the condition that releated tracks work in export mode as in perfomance mode.
So we don't have to select from the releated tracks section.
For those who play in export mode with ethernet connection (like me) it is difficult to play with the releated tracks. For example, if we click a track from our collection then we go to releatead tracks and select a track to play next. But if we want to do the same again then we have to search the track to our collection, select it and go again to releated tracks.

The related tracks function kinda works the same in EXPORT as it does in PERFORMANCE, but as the criteria are slightly different (the track loaded to a physical deck over link is not considered the "master").
Either way, it should work properly and I've asked the rekordbox team to look into it. It could simply be a workflow thing from their view vs. how DJs are using it.
Yesterday, I was in a bar and dj was a friend of mine. So he told me that he plays with serato. Oh i said to him! Let me look at that. So i see the program and first thing i ve notice was that related tracks was in browser. Not in another section that you have to choose. And guess what. Related tracks was highlighted! So simple!
(Don't tell me to work with serato then)
As I say above its not simple to work with related tracks in export mode. I explain why.
Hope that pioneer team look some simple things in recordbox first for their customer (djs) and then update other things like program for lights or lyrics or other things that aren't the first priority for a dj. My opinion!
That's not related tracks... Serato DJ doesn't have a "related tracks" feature.
Isn't related tracks the section that we can do a harmonic mix or the same bpm or whatever we want?Next track can mix better with the previous one??
Huh?
You didn't understand me, was this a stupid question or just you wondering WTF is he saying(about my question)??
Serato DJ doesn't have a "related tracks" function like rekordbox does, so I'm not sure what you're saying when you say "related tracks section" in reference to Serato.
Isn't related tracks the same when we say that this track can be mixed with another one because they have the same key or bpm or whatever we set in our cretiria???
Yes, but related tracks in rekordbox are more than just the simple BPM / key criteria... and using the BROWSE sorting function in Serato DJ is not the same as the related tracks function.
