Hello Everyone,

Will this feature like in Mixed in Key 8, be added in REKORDBOXDJ anytime soon?

Thank you

Thank you for your quick reply.

What am looking for is software to automatically sort tracks into different energy levels. example:

L1, L2 etc to L10 being the most high energy. Is Rekordboxdj doing this ? (am not seeing it :)

Thank you

No, sorry - the phrase energy measurement is different.

If you want to use the energy levels from MiK, consider having that value written to the comments, then you could create MyTag values for those to match. The best way to do it would be by way of creating 10 intelligent playlists, each one matching the content of the comments field to the corresponding energy level, then select all songs in that list, and apply a MyTag to match.

Thanks again for your time.

What I am looking for is what MIK does BUT on Rekordboxdj :)

I am prepared to pay up to $30 if this is included with Camelot Keys or even Pioneers own Camelot system.

We are just so busy, most of us DJ'ing being our second job. What MiK does, it automatically decides what the energy is and applies the level to an energy field on the software. Please also give us the option to be able to change the energy level manually (after auto level is applied) on a track should the need a rise.

Thank you

Hi Pulse,

Please tell me if Rekordbox can currently do what Platinum Notes as well as Auto Cue points like (MIK) does?

If not, when will Rekordbox introduce their own built into Rekordbox.

Thank you

Automatically, no - see my work-around above. There may be more use from the energy detection within the phrase analysis in future, but I'm not sure.

have a look at this

https://youtu.be/RO80SShzLzM

tho ReCK does not directly take the energy level from MiK (like Pulse suggested you can write them to comment fields from MiK and go from there)

ReCK does something more useful. MiK can set cue points automatically, which ReCK can convert to Rekordbox. the MiK cue points are actually "energy level change points". ReCK puts the energy level the cue transitions to in the Cue's name.

the "energy level" MiK reports is an average of the cue points

you'll still need both ReCK and MiK for this to work.

Thank you very much MixmasterG . Very help full. I just wish all this was incorporated into Rekordbox. It would be much easier.

Thanks again MixMasterG,

It takes me right to the purchase screen:)

Before I purchase, would like to know if ReCK works with Windows 10, that is the platform that I run Recordboxdj from, also are there any limitations I need to know about using ReCK on Windows 10?

Thanks
