How to sync XDJ-RX (in standalone) with Maschine mk2

So I like using my XDJ-RX in standalone mode. But I now want to sync up my Maschine mk2 with it.

What would be the best way to go about this? Is it possible to sync the Maschine whilst still using the RX in standalone mode?

I don't mind having the computer that will run the Maschine software also run Traktor, Logic or Rekordbox, if this is required for whatever reason. I just don't want to be looking at that screen all the time whilst I DJ (hence standalone RX).

Cheers!

What audio interface are you using in order to output the audio from the software?

I have a Presonus FP10 which I'd like to use but needs repairing. So i'm currently just linking the headphone port from my Mac Mini (in mono mode) to one of the microphone inputs on the RX.

If there's a better way without the FP10 then please let me know! But I do plan to get the FP10 fixed ASAP.

Ew, no - please don't run a line output into a mic input! My recommendation would be (currently) for you to send the output from the headphone output to one of the line inputs on the RX. You lose the ability to play 2 different sources, but once your FP10 comes back, then you could route the RX master output into that, and your software outs from Maschine to it as well, then from the FP10 to your speakers.

Yeh I get that it's really not meant for that, but it was just a temporary solution to keep the ability to run both RX decks and try out syncing the Maschine.

So do you have any advice on how to sync them up?

Thanks

Unfortunately there's no easy way to do that with the software right now, or your gear in particular, so it's all by-ear.
