We've passed this up to the rekordbox team to be adjusted, but as the noise CFX can be applied to any channel, you could put it on an unused channel and use the fader to bring it in to the desired level.
Hi. I just received my DDJ-1000 and I'm loving it. I noticed the 'Noise' sound color effect is REALLY loud. If I have a track playing, and it reaches the orange level, the 'Noise' sound color fx drowns out the song, to the point of almost being unusable. A work around is to raise the deck's 'Trim' level, but raising it to the point where the 'Noise' fx blends in good with the song, gets the song to the red level, and thats not good. So...
1) Is there a way to lower the 'Noise' sound color fx level.
2) If there isn't, is this something others have complained about ? Is there a fix in the works.
3) What can I do to make 'Noise' sound color fx blend in with the track nice, without raising the track's Trim level to the red point.
Thanks. Loving this unit.

I have recently got a DDJ-1000 and have noticed exactly this. Keeping my gains just in the yellows and leaving good headroom, the noise colour is way too loud.
Really pleased with it,on the whole, though!
The noise effect is now wayyyyyy to quiet and u cant use it on a fader to bring the noise effect over the mix as its tooo quiet
@Jamie > Adjust with the channel gain knob.
I have tried this however if the effect will only go as loud as 4 green lights,,,this is no where near loud enough if I am mixin high in the yellow, is there a way to turn it it in settings
figured it out, needed to change the parameter in the the cfx setting in the program
