If you're using DVS, have you got the DVS plugin activated and configured properly within rekordbox? The channel selector on the DDJ itself should be set to the USB, not the line/phono input.

Ddj-1000 y dvs
Hola compañeros, tengo un ddj-1000 y quiero conectar un par de platos que suelo gastar. En analogico van de cine, pero cuando los internto pasar a Dvs, no hay forma, me reconoce la señal. pero no consigo hacer que el disco, reconozca ninguna cancion, solo escucho el chillido clasico de los discos controladores.
A ver si alguen me puede echar una mano.

I have the same problem...I have the ddj 1000 and I connected the turntables plx-500 by its RCA cable to the channels 3 and 4...using in both equipments the Phono/Line switch in "Phono" mode and the selector leaving in "USB-A". and it doesn't really recognize the signal of the turntables.
