DJM 900 NXS 2 Ableton Live 9

Hi

I'm trying to link my laptop with Ableton to my DJM 900 NXS2, but in my Ableton settings the DJM is not being recognised. Should I use another external sound card between my laptop and the mixer? I guess not since the DJM 900 NXS2 has a built-in sound card. I would like to route Ableton with Push 2 to two channels whilst keeping my XDJs linked to the two other channels.

The funny thing is that the DJM is being recognised in the MIDI part of Ableton. So, both pieces are talking to each other in some way.

Here's some more info:

MacBook Pro 2017 with High Sierra OS

Ableton Live 9 Suite 64 bit

Latest firmware installed on DJM (2.05).

I've selected input A which has the USB cable inserted on channel 2 & 3.

Feedback is welcome.

Thanks

@Vladimir > Be sure you've actually installed the drivers. High Sierra blocks most driver installation through a security feature. Here's the process you need to follow:

- install the drivers

- go and disable the High Sierra driver security

- install the drivers again right away
