Does the audio from the right side cut out when you move it to the left?

DDJ-1000 Crossfader hardware not fully moving to Point A
Good Morning,
My newly purchased DDJ-1000 seems to have a hardware defect. When I was testing the crossfader, it would not fully slide to the Left (position A)
Is there a simple troubleshooting step I can take, or does it need to be RMAed?

Its not a software issue. the hardware physically doesn't go all the way. And no, it does not cut out when you move it as far as it allows to the left. lemme see if I can get a gif made of the issue

Yuck! That's not right. I'd take it back to the retailer for a defective unit exchange.
