Moving my database to new computer

Hello,

I have a new computer and want to move my rekordbox data base and playlists to the new computer. I have used the function \

Library back up, then copy the file to my new computer

Than when i want to restore back up, nothing is happening.

Please advise what i am doing wrong,

Thanks for your help!!

When you say "nothing is happening" what did you do, and what exactly does rekordbox do when you try the restoration process?

Good morning,

Thanks for your quick reply!

When I try to restore the files, I click on the main folder, then "open" will highlight and I click on open, then I arrive in the subfolder and do this again to end up in all the separate music files.
Here I cannot do anything at all anymore. I can select 1 single file only but cannot do anything with it.  Also it is not possible to select all files.

Thanks

Hellio,

Thanks it is working also my playlists installed!

However many files are missing, I know you have the re-locate option but if I have to do this one by one it is huge work. How is it possible these are missing, did I do something wrong?

Yes I made a back up and choose the option to also back up the music files.

I copy to external disk

then I copy to the new computer

then I choose restore option

After that all the names have an acclamation (!) mark and I need to relocate the file one by one.. Now 100% cannot be found
