Use XDJ-RX with Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 MIDI controller

Hello,

Maybe this questions is already answered or it's stupid one (I don't know ) :-). I want to be a little bit more creative and I want to add a Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 MIDI controller to my setup so that I can play with samples and make the tracks more unique.

I am now wondering if it's possible to use the Kontrol X1 together with the XDJ-RX, and if so, how am I going to connect the two? I'm guessing that I will need to use a laptop but I'm not sure. I've been searching Google for a few hours now and didn't find anything helpful.

Suggestions for other midi controllers that do work with the XDJ-RX are welcome aswell :-).

TIA!

To use it with rekordbox dj (performance mode), no problem - connect both via USB and they're both acting as MIDI controllers for the software. Go into the MIDI manager in rekordbox, choose the drop-down at the left to select the KONTROL X1 and then map out whatever function you'd desire.

If you wanted to connect the X1 directly to the RX for stand-alone mode, no - sorry, that's not supported.
