i think you dont need interface, you only need to buy/activate dvs function on your rekordbox software, cmiiw. if you have already activated dvs and still not working, then your setup is incorrect.

DDJ 1000, is it required to purchase Recordbox interface as well to play turntables?
I have purchased the DDJ 1000, is it required to purchase Recordbox interface as well to play turntables? Or should i be able to plug in turntables I tot he controller and also be able to use the recordbox control vinyl? I’m trying to connect it with the recordbox interface but it’s not reading the calibration when I set it up to the controller or through my regular mixer.

There is no need for an external audio interface as the DDJ-1000 support Rekordbox DVS. Don't connect the Interface 2 if have one.
As said by HOLZA, you only need to activate the DVS plus pack.
Make sure the DVS plus pack is activated and enabled in the settings. Then make sure the decks you assign it to (in this case 3/4) are set to Absolute or relative mode.
