I recently got the updated 5.4 version of rekordbox and found out that with the new versions I can't use the Ethernet cable to control rekordbox on the rx anymore (in performance mode-I know export still allows). I bought the USB wire and figured out how to connect to the laptop in midi mode. However, the audio will only work for both decks on channel 1- no matter what ive tried I cant control Deck two on the second channel on the console. Is there a way for me to control both channels in midi mode? If so is there a video to show how?
To clarify, you were never able to control rekordbox in PERFORMANCE mode with ethernet; that was for EXPORT mode only. To control rekordbox dj with the XDJ-RX as a controller, you have always needed to use a USB cable.
