Hey all,

I'm new to Rekordbox DJ (migrating from Serato) and trying to figure out the best setup for how I'm trying to use this.  What I'm trying to do is control RDJ with my CDJ 2000's and play the audio through my Rane 68 mixer.  I have the CDJ's hooked up via usb to a hub and then connected to my computer and have rca's running from the CDJ's to my mixer.  I can get CDJ 1 (left side) to work fine but CDJ 2 produces static.  Everything else with CDJ 2 seems to work.  I can search and load tracks fine but when I try to play them, I mainly hear static but can hear the track playing softly behind the static.  I have the CDJs selected for audio and when I flip output settings in the audio tab of Rekordbox the problem changes to the left side.  Seems to me it might be a driver issue of some sort.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Rekordbox and the CDJ driver to no avail.  Is this sort of setup even possible and, if so, what am I doing wrong?  Haven't been able to find much information on the web about this specific sort of setup.

Tried this again tonight with a different laptop running Windows 7 with even weirder results so thinking it's most likely a program/driver issue at this point.  Any other way to accomplish what I'm trying to do with a different cord/usb routing?  Anyone else tried this setup before?  Got a gig upcoming in a week so if I can't get this resolved soon I'm gonna have to resort back to Serato for the moment at least...Thoughts?

Have you considered using the 68's USB soundcard as the output rather than the CDJs? What has to happen there is the CDJs aggregate through their driver to bridge both USB audio interfaces together, and that can lead to conflicts in some cases.

I did try that.  When I did so though, I could only seem to get signals from both decks coming through only on channel 1 on my mixer.  Are there some other settings I would need to change to separate the signals from decks 1 and 2 to make them come through separate channels on the mixer?  I'll play around with it some more tonight...

Yes - make sure you're in EXTERNAL mixer mode, then assign the outputs for deck 1 to the mixer's channel 1 outputs (may be listed as "Channel 1 L" / "Channel 1 R", or "Channel 1" / "Channel 2"), and same for CH2 outputs (again, going up in step to the next mixer output).
