Trying to decide if the rx2 is right for me

So can you use this unit to control a serato program thru the midi conection? And can you plug in a phone and possibly use a Spotify playlist?

The first question is really "no" because the RX2 is not Serato DJ compatible, however as it's a MIDI device, certain functions can be mapped, but not the jogs.

Yes, you could connect a phone (with an RCA input) to one of the channels or AUX input.
